    • State that you want to order raffle tickets.
    • Leave your full name and phone number only.
  • A Friends volunteer will return your call to confirm the order.

*2019 50/50 Raffle is conducted under Municipal License #3794. Dollar winnings and odds are a function of the number of tickets sold. Winners need not be present to win. Tickets must be purchased (orders confirmed and paid for) no later than 11:45 AM on April 25, 2019.

**Friends purchases the 6th ticket.

The Rules

  • All Bids and Raffle Ticket Purchases must be received by 11:45 am on April 25, 2019 to be eligible.

  • Winners will be announced beginning at 12 noon on April 25, 2019 in the Library Program Room. The public is invited to attend. Winners need not be present to win.

  • Bid in whole dollar amounts only. You may submit multiple bids for any item. Your highest bid will be considered final.

  • (NEW FEATURE) Increment & Cap Bidding: You may authorize Friends to automatically increment your bid by a specified dollar amount when a new high bid is received. Specify a limit/cap amount which Friends will not exceed.

  • (NEW FEATURE) Buy Now: If you submit the Buy Now amount, you will immediately win the item. You'll receive the item subject to payment and the item will be removed from auction.

  • For items where multiple sets are available, please indicate how many you are bidding on.

  • Beginning April 15, the website will be updated for current high bids each weeknight. Current high bids will be posted the next morning in the Library at the Auction Table.

  • The final posting of high bids will take place by 11:30 am on April 25. The period 11:30 am - 11:45 am is a “Quiet Phase” when bids will be accepted, but not posted. This period will also be used by Friends to review automatic incremental bidding and caps. Again, all bids must be received by 11:45 am to be eligible.

  • In the event of a tie among high bids, the winner will be chosen by lottery. Winners will be contacted via phone or email on April 25. For information purposes, final winning bid amounts will also be posted the afternoon of April 25. Winners will have until Saturday, April 27, 2019 at NOON to make arrangements for payment and receipt of item. After that time, the next highest bidder will be contacted.

  • Members of Friends Benefit: For EVERY auction item you bid on (whether or not you win), you'll receive a voucher for a complimentary item from Friends' Ongoing Book Sale. Only one voucher per auction item.
